July 18, 19, 20th in New York City I'll be appearing at the hacker convention called The Last Hope put on by 2600 the hacker quarterly. It's 3 days of technology panels and inventors showing off cell phone jammers, stuff like TV-B-Gone, and you can drink beer and watch people hack Segways so they do 80 miles an hour(well maybe not 80, but at the last con i had a few drinks and nearly killed myself on one.) Or you can listen to panel discussions on everything from viruses
to forensics to CIA guys talking about black ops missions they've been on. I'll be the MC all weekend and appearing on stage for an hour Sunday to give a talk. It's at the Hotel Pennsylvania - and yes that is still their phone number, but don't call the hotel, get your tix at Hope.net

These things are a lot of fun and you don't need to know anything about technology to learn stuff. Plus there is a power tool race this year. With like, spinning blades of saws racing around.
